The everyday experience: Keeping monotony at bay

 

Dr. Eran Dorfman, senior lecturer in French and Literature at Tel Aviv University, is the author of the recently-published Foundations of the Everyday: Shock, Deferral, Repetition, which focuses on the periphery of the everyday experience.

Dr. Dorfman shares with us the mechanisms that can prevent our daily lives from becoming unchanging and monotonous.
